After showcasing her talent by anchoring a programme in Zee Telugu channel, Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, daughter of Padma Shri Dr M Mohanbabu, expressed her desire to enter the films and play a memorable character on the screen. Soon, she got an opportunity to play an important role in ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’ directed by Kovelamudi Prakash and jointly produced by Walt Disney and K Raghavendra Rao. Even before signing the agreement for the film, her father warned her not do the role but she ignored his advice. Very recently the film’s trailers were released into the theatres and TV channels. After watching the promos, several personalities in the film industry hailed her performance and acting capabilities and Lakshmi Prasanna was very happy at that time. However, offers started pouring in for her to play lead roles in their films. But most of them are negative characters and she is being treated as a sorceress by all the film makers.
