The actor usually takes long time to announce his next project, but has gone for a surprise this time. Yup! The actor has officially announced his next film ‘Rana’ with K.S. Ravikumar handling direction.
The film will be produced by Eros International and Orcher Studios Pvt Ltd. The film boasts of a tremendous technicians list that includes A.R. Rahman , Rathinavelu , Anthony and Rajeevan . The preproduction phase is going on now and the shooting will commence by March with the release scheduled by mid-of-2012. The biggest highlight of this film is that Superstar Rajnikanth will appear in triple action. The technical & special effects director will be Soundarya Rajnikanth and Charles Darby of Eyeqube Studios, renowned visual effects luminary and an Emmy award winner will be the visual effects supervisor on the film.
